Nature is full of nourishing and healing power. Our ancestors knew this well. They turned to plants, herbs, clays, oils, and butters with a deep understanding of what truly worked – for body, hair, skin, and spirit. That knowledge was passed down for centuries, until we gradually let it slip away.

We grew used to lengthy ingredient lists we didn’t fully understand, trusting products without really knowing what was in them or how they worked.

At Munay-Ki, we want to bring that forgotten wisdom back to life. We create natural hair care with botanical ingredients that are good for both you and your hair. And we explain what we use and why – so you can rediscover how your own system works in harmony with nature, and pass that knowledge on to those around you.

Hydrolyzed Oat Protein

The small protein particles of oat protein penetrate easily into the hair shaft and help retain moisture, exactly what brittle and dry hair needs. This powerful ingredient is known for supporting hair with greater elasticity and shine, leaving it feeling less vulnerable. It also soothes the scalp and helps reduce redness and itchiness.

Raw Cacao Powder, Organic

Raw cacao powder is rich in antioxidants, magnesium, and theobromine – nutrients that naturally support a healthy scalp and shiny hair. In your shampoo bar, it works as a gentle circulation booster and helps make your hair feel softer and more manageable.

Glycerin

In nature, glycerine is found in almost all fats and oils, both plant‑ and animal‑based. In our shampoo bar we use plant‑derived glycerine. It is extracted from oils such as rapeseed or soy. Through a process with natural enzymes and gentle refinement, the glycerine is then purified into a clear, syrupy ingredient. Benefits for your hair: Acts as a powerful moisture magnet, helping your hair stay hydrated. Makes the hair fiber more supple and helps reduce frizz.

Provitamin B5

Vitamin B5 occurs in almost all plant and animal foods, such as whole grains, nuts, and eggs. Our shampoo bar contains D‑panthenol, the provitamin B5. It is made from plant‑based sugars (e.g., from corn or sugar beet) through a combination of fermentation and gentle further processing. Benefits for your hair: adds shine, fills tiny cracks in the hair shaft to reduce breakage, and helps soothe a dry or irritated scalp.

Aloe Vera Powder

The pure gel hidden inside the Aloe Vera is purified and spray‑dried into a powder. This preserves everything that makes Aloe Vera so special, minus the water and the preservatives. In your shampoo bar, the powder dissolves under the shower, pulling in moisture like a magnet and leaving a calming veil on your scalp. The result? Incredibly soft hair. A beauty secret we hope you’ll share.

Prickly Pear Seed Oil, Cold-Pressed Organic

A luxurious oil high in vitamin E, prickly pear seed oil delivers intense hydration and repair to damaged hair. Its high antioxidant content protects against free radicals while its fatty acids restore elasticity and shine to dry, brittle strands.
